We’re looking for someone exceptional who wants to make a difference and likes a challenge. If that’s you, a fabulous opportunity has arisen to join the Asset Compliance team as a General Compliance Manager.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll act as the key stakeholder responsible for managing a number of key compliance areas for Optivo. You’ll ensure that Optivo meets its statutory and policy obligations with regard to numerous strands of compliance that include but is not restricted to the following: Domestic Lifts, PV and Renewables, Height Safety Equipment, Powered Gates and Barriers, Pressure Vessels, Play Equipment, etc. You’ll help ensure the above satisfactory compliance with the associated Optivo Management Plans and Procedures.
What you’ll need
You’ll have a track record of successfully managing compliance, maintenance and inspection programmes within a comparable organisation. You’ll have previous experience in a similar role within the housing sector, including the robust management of external service providers. You’ll have demonstrable knowledge of the Health and Safety legislations. You’ll have the ability to establish and manage robust processes and controls to govern the compliance function, including managing large amounts of data, and to audit these processes and controls to provide assurance. You’ll have the proven ability to understand and analyse various reports to provide accurate and relevant advice to internal & external stakeholders across the organisation.
You’ll need to have access to a car and a valid UK driving licence and the ability to travel between sites and offices across all regions will be a requirement for this role.
