What you’ll be doing

You will be joining one of the UK’s largest social housing providers in this new post reporting to our Treasury Manager.

Together with two other colleagues, you’ll share responsibility for managing our £2.5 billion treasury portfolio.

You’ll stay on top of all our day-to-day treasury actions including payments, drawdowns and repayments, surplus cash investments, intercompany transactions and swap mark-to-market monitoring.

You’ll help produce our daily (short-term) and monthly (medium-term) cash flow forecasts and recommend liquidity management actions for senior sign-off. Where required you’ll support your recommendations with financial modelling.

You’ll contribute to Treasury Committee papers and external reporting including to the Regulator of Social Housing, banks, bond investors, ratings agencies and others. You’ll also gain exposure to investors relations and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategies that deliver lasting benefits to all our stakeholders.

Equal Opportunities

At Optivo we work hard to create a diverse and inclusive culture and environment where people are respected for who they are. Encouraging inclusion is not just about protected characteristics, it’s about celebrating differences of thought, opinion, experience and perspective of each individual. We’re all different in our own way and we want our colleagues to feel comfortable, that they belong, and are safe to be themselves at work, without fear of being judged or excluded, but valued for their contribution to our One Team approach.
